IUI

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is an assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedure characterized by the transcervical insertion of washed and concentrated motile sperm directly into the uterine cavity. Performed during the peri-ovulatory period, it facilitates gamete approximation and bypasses potential cervical barriers. Primary indications include mild oligoasthenospermia, unexplained infertility, cervical mucus hostility, and for patients utilizing donor gametes. It is a less complex and more cost-effective alternative to IVF in selected cases.

Endoscopy

Endoscopy is a minimally invasive medical procedure that allows physicians to visually examine the interior of a hollow organ or cavity within the body. Using a specialized instrument called an endoscope a long, thin, flexible tube equipped with a light and a high-definition camera the procedure provides real-time, detailed images on a monitor. To perform treatments without major surgery, including removing polyps, stopping bleeding, dilating strictures, or retrieving foreign objects. obtain small tissue samples for laboratory analysis,

Laser hatching

Laser Hatching, also known as Assisted Hatching (AH), is an advanced embryology technique used in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to improve the chances of an embryo implanting in the uterine lining. Every embryo is surrounded by a protective outer shell called the zona pellucida. For implantation to occur, the embryo must “hatch” out of this shell. In some cases, this shell can be abnormally thick or hardened, which may prevent the embryo from hatching and attaching to the uterus. Laser Hatching involves using a precise, non-contact laser beam to create a small,

PICSI

PICSI (Physiological Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is an advanced Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) procedure used to enhance the selection of viable sperm for fertilization. This specialized technique helps identify and select mature sperm based on their ability to bind to hyaluronic acid—a natural compound present in the layer surrounding a human egg. By ensuring that only functionally mature sperm with normal DNA integrity are chosen for injection, PICSI significantly improves embryo quality, fertilization rates, and the likelihood of a successful pregnancy.

TESE

TESE is a specialized surgical procedure used to retrieve sperm directly from the testicular tissue in men who have azoospermia (no sperm in the ejaculate). It is a key technique in male infertility treatment, particularly for cases of non-obstructive azoospermia, where sperm production is severely impaired but may still exist in isolated pockets within the testes. The retrieved sperm are then used in conjunction with Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), a form of in vitro fertilization (IVF), where a single sperm is injected directly into an egg to achieve fertilization.

Microfluidic

Microfluidics is the science and technology of designing, manufacturing, and utilizing systems that manipulate and process extremely small volumes of fluids—typically in the range of microliters Often described as “lab-on-a-chip” technology, it enables the miniaturization and integration of complex laboratory functions (such as mixing, separation, reaction, and analysis) onto a single, portable device. This is achieved by precisely controlling the behavior of fluids at the microscale, where unique physical phenomena (like laminar flow, dominant surface forces,
